Rei Kassandra Abella Co, (born on January 19, 2006) is a dancer from Dubai with Filipino roots.
Rei is the youngest member of the 2014 Grand Winner of MBC's Arab Got Talent (The Sima Dance Company). She started her training with the company at the age of 9 years old under the supervision of the founder Alaa Krimed and Lana Fahmi. At a very young age, the founder sees her hard work and determination to become one of their main acts. She is now performing in a different platform in the UAE together with the other artist of the company.
She started dancing when she was 7 years old. When she joined the UAE Kid's Star in 2012 and awarded as the Grand Winner. The said competition was initially launched as modeling competition then reformed to a talent competition.
In the year 2015, she started joining different competitions in Dubai and won as Grand Winner and Runner Up. Like, Kidzania Superstars, Safeer Talent Competition, McDonald's Talent Competition, KidzSuperstaz and more.
She also succeeds in fashion modeling for different clothing brands. Like, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Aeropostale, Tommy Hilfiger, Girlz, and others.
Rei is a homeschooler since 7th grade so she can both dance and study at the same time. She appreciates the flexibility of school schedules. and dancing rehearsals. She is currently taking classes in theater acting and gymnastics training. Rei is improving her dancing by taking more technical classes in ballet and hip-hop, house dance, dancehall and more. Her dance background is mostly hip-hop and jazz dancing before she fell in love with contemporary dancing.
Aside from that her second passion is music and singing. She likes playing the piano and drums. She is also a mathematics Enthusiast where she also joins in Abacus competition.
