In 2013, Bostyn and four of her friends from dance ([[Dylynn Jones]], [[Brynn Rumfallo]], [[Jenna Valenzuela]], and [[Jaycee Wilkins]]) auditioned for NBC's ''So You Think You Can Dance''. Together, they formed the dance group "Fresh Faces", led by their dance teacher [[Alexa Moffett]]. The girls did not win, but they were fan favorites on the show. In 2016, auditioned for ''So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation'', but didn't make it past the academy round.
