Higher Import Limit
Is there anyway to heighten the upload limit on Imports? Cause apparently, there's a certain limit to how many MBs (megabytes) are allowed for each upload. Is there anyway to fix it? Wikimaven1982 (talk) 18:40, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, will take care of that in a minute, have to adjust php config, nginx config and possibly LocalSettings for mediawiki. Spacetrain31 (talk) 18:43, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- The php file upload sizes has been increased, let me know if that makes a difference. Spacetrain31 (talk) 18:58, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- It's a little bit better, but can you bump it up to like 100MB, please? Wikimaven1982 (talk) 21:31, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- nginx and php are already bumped to 100MB, if something won't import, try exporting without revision history, tends to be a smaller file exported. Will look into a higher limit. Spacetrain31 (talk) 21:35, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- I worked 10 Years as SW developer, and know PHP too, if HR will be needed.--KidsSupport (talk) 16:06, 30 November 2025 (UTC)

Upload Wizard
Now what we need is that upload bar thing in the editors, so that we can upload multiple photographs. In other words, the UploadWizard. Can you produce that for us, please? Wikimaven1982 (talk) 16:03, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I can look at getting that added. Spacetrain31 (talk) 18:57, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- We are using MediaUploader to disable the licensing stuff from wizard. Spacetrain31 (talk) 02:44, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
Do we will still keep birth date for children under 13?
It's not just by page, it's also by printout in PDF.
- Of course as far as anybody's concerned. Remember, this is a different home now. There are almost no rules or restrictions--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 16:15, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- yea, but remember you provoke the entire world by that think. Ok, if have to switch location soon and continue two hours later with beta testing und housekeeping.--KidsSupport (talk) 16:20, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- As a general rule, as far as I'm concerned, if the account is not private and the parents are out there putting their kids out there on Instagram and sharing that information publicly it makes no difference whether it is on Instagram or the site as it is publicly available information and it isn't hard to subtract the year from age on posts to figure out birth year, and you can be darn sure AI is already scraping Instagram posts so they have that information as well, but if we receive a valid request to remove a birth date, we will comply and remove it for that dancer. Valid COPPA and GDPR requests can be sent to privacy@kiddancers.wiki. Spacetrain31 (talk) 17:52, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- EU GDPR doesn't concern now, but we are global service. The privacy link is great. Helps a lot. KidsSupport (talk) 18:03, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- As far as GDPR is concerned, while we do not specifically target or offer goods or services to individuals in the EU, we do use cookies and Cloudflare does show traffic from EU countries, so GDPR does apply and we will need to comply with valid requests. Spacetrain31 (talk) 18:15, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- We under Cloudflare and use cookies?! I didn't know. Ok! KidsSupport (talk) 19:42, 30 November 2025 (UTC)

Back link from subpages
We need still a back button (Link) from subpages. Button in browser is insufficient, because you made a change on side next side is invalid.
- I'm finish for today. Check 2009 pages A. Working tomorrow spontaneously on it, have other work to do. When you guys think, it is ready to go online?--KidsSupport (talk) 21:54, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- see Template:ReturnToParent, created a template for this yesterday. Spacetrain31 (talk) 23:00, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- That's right. So, place this: {{ReturnToParent}}, whenever you go to a subpage. My Advice: For the primaries or first subpages, put them in the upper left hand corner. For the secondaries, the sub-subpages, put them in the bottom.--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 22:59, 30 November 2025 (UTC)
- I propose a new concept for the page links.
- I propose a new concept for the page links.
Additional Pages
- Common Gallery
- Gallery of Competitions and Conventions:
- In Indonesia
- Abroad
And back link standardized to dancer page as < Dancer Main Page on top left and bottom left of each subpage. The link jump strait to ==Additional Pages== position and can try next subpage. With two benefits; first we see all subpages for the dancer in one section and second, the we have a standardized back link as far as Will doesn't start to distinguish between -sg again, when it is just one link. - Sample Miyu Pranoto What do you think?--KidsSupport (talk) 16:59, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- I will not criticize your idea as it is neither good nor bad, and I understand that you want to makes things easier for yourself and perhaps others as well, but here's my latest advice: You use your idea for just the pages you work on and only the pages you work on. And that's as far as I can go. Thank you.--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 20:50, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- Just tell me how you what it.
- Like last time < name | gallery | "subgallery" and just on the Top left?
- So we agree a standard.
- I'm not pissed if you dislike it. KidsSupport (talk) 21:14, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- name -> gallery -> subgallery is a cleaner format and linking to sub galleries on the gallery page is cleaner as you don’t end up with long lists of gallery links on the main page. Spacetrain31 (talk) 23:29, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- Guys, I'm out for a couple days to fight some neonazis and mafiosi and can not much do for you. sorry.--KidsSupport (talk) 14:13, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

Hide User Creation Log
Is it possible to hide or remove the User Creation Log from the Recent Changes page. I'm only asking that because there are too many user creations and they're flooding up the Recent Changes page. So is it possible to hide only that log away from view on the Recent Changes page, please?--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 02:14, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Use filter to filter for page edits. Spacetrain31 (talk) 02:57, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- I’ll be adding the CheckUser and AbuseFilter extensions as well. Spacetrain31 (talk) 03:07, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- I did what you said, but that doesn't stop the User Creation Log from growing in the RecentChanges page as everyone else will see it, for at this rate it'll keep going forever, at least from the looks of it.--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 17:02, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- yes, please do. KidsSupport (talk) 18:36, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- I added permissions to it, so it shouldn't write to RecentChanges any more, on a side note, Special:BlockList is looking decent, found the source of the accounts that were created. Spacetrain31 (talk) 19:09, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks a million!--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 22:41, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

Try using this: Manual:$wgNewUserLog; That should eliminate the User Creation Log from the RecentChanges page.--Wikimaven1982 (talk) 09:01, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

Certificate must be registered
The SSL-Certificate is still not registered. I propose do registration same way like for the domain on a Certificate Authorities (CAs), like DigiCert, Sectigo, or D-Trust, that prove a website's identity and encrypt data, creating a secure connection (HTTPS). Especially if you are planning for sub wikis.--KidsSupport (talk) 14:41, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- The SSL Certificate is registered, we are using Lets Encrypt, you should be redirected to https. Spacetrain31 (talk) 21:24, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- Great. Thx. KidsSupport (talk) 09:54, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
- certificate is still not registered. 89.0.176.79 13:15, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- Probably isn't showing on your end, plus things like that take time before its gets registered. Wikimaven1982 (talk) 13:52, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- It is registered, don’t know how your saying it isn’t. Spacetrain31 (talk) 13:25, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- Because the browser reports a bad certificate error. Therefore when call up any embedded vid it's reporting "Sign in so we can see that you're not a bot. This protects our community," 89.0.176.79 14:17, 25 December 2025 (UTC)

Favicon
Do we want to set our own favicon, our do we stay common web favicon?--KidsSupport (talk) 14:45, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- I made some on right

But he don't let me upload an 32 x 32 .ico file, which I made. It's best for high solution display. We need to bind it in the header of the wiki
<head> <<link rel="icon" href="/kiddancers.wiki.ico" sizes="32x32"> ... </head>
