She described her mom as her biggest inspiration and gives her a lot of credit, because she is taking good care of her, despite her own extensive working time. She spends a lot of time with her friends as well, including her four and counting cats. She is obsessed with cats. Although Charlize is a fierce monster on stage, is used to stand in front of the crowd, her strong appearance and that she is a cool, eloquent and strait forward shooter in interviews, in private she quite the opposite. She has some phobias and doesn't feel comfortable surrounded by people she doesn't know. She appreciates her privacy and wants to retreat from public after the show.
