In 2017, Gabe got first time attention as great hip-hop choreographer due his concept video "Turn Up The Music", song by his idol Chris Brown, which he conceived of and designed as the opening number of a fundraising gala. <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb-9gPnpejI Turn Up the Music | Chris Brown | Choreography/Concept by Gabe De Guzman]</ref> His favorite move is jumping from different positions, sometimes with backflip, piroettes etc, into a James Brown split. A miracle he said he never got seriously injured. Sometimes he hurted himself a little, shoke it off<ref>[https://youtu.be/1Iz2iz7XLRA?t=35 Gabe De Guzman Q&A]</ref> and just rushed back into battle for a new charge, because his dance style is extremely fast with brutal accents.
