Nurul Azizah Syafitri
Nurul Azizah Syafitri (born on August 24, 2012 in Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia, also known by her stage name Azizah MRDS or short Azizah) is an Indonesian young talented dancer, martial artist (Pencak silat), model, an activist and a student. She is living in Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia.

Nurul learned to dance since kindergarten. Her mother registered her at the Miracle Dancers (MRDS) studio in Lombok when she was 4 and stayed until today.[2] In 2023, she performed with her studio crew on Indonesia's Got Talent, and of course, as martial artist she had to do all the stunts - Their IGT perfomance on Arena 2023 convention. Even though they only made it to the quarterfinals, the experience left a deep impression on her. She learned a lot about the entertainment and media world, including the filming process.
This young woman from Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, has to manage her time between school, tutoring, religious studies, silat, and dance practice. Her schedule is indeed packed, but she manages to do it all with unwavering enthusiasm.
In addition to dancing, Azizah also often wins regional silat competitions for sparring or solo arts. For the past two years, Azizah has been actively participating in the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) pencak silat. For Azizah, silat is not a difficult thing because her physical condition has often been trained through dancing. She is also active in both activities to continue to be at the forefront. Not only that, Azizah is also a master of pencak silat and has won various titles at the regional level. As a member of the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate organization, she was taught by her father to protect herself. “If I can defend myself through pencak silat, then I can also protect myself,” she said with a smile. In addition, Azizah has a passion for promoting traditional martial arts and silat. She aspires to become a champion at the PON or Asian Games, and is currently preparing to compete in the Super Dance 24 event in Singapore in August 2025.
Prominent talent led her to a number of prestigious competitions, one of which was World of Dance (WOD) in Jakarta. At that time Azizah MRDS became the youngest participant and had to be satisfied to perch in the 7th rank. The failure of the champion did not make his spirit sluggish. After training, Azizah MRDS became the 1st WOD Region Indonesia champion with her dance studio team Miracle Dancers in Junior competition in Bali in 2024. The contesting dances went often viral and finally she got the opportunity to appear in front of President of Indonesia Jokowi as a guest star of the Brownis program on television for initiatives in national civil society.
Azizah has gone viral by her dance cover video "Bye Bye Bye" of Deadpool with 30M+ views on instagram and Youtube, where she flight in as Spiderman and showed her K-dance in her school uniform in the middle of the street.
In 2024, She got the opportunity to perform as opening show on the Motor Grand Prix Indonesia in Mandalika, Lombok 2024. In the same year, she was also invited as a performer for outstanding students at the National Education Day (Hardiknas) Center in Jakarta. During the World Water Forum eventin Bali, an international conference discussing water issues around the world, Azizah also appeared as a representative of talented Indonesian children.
