Biography
[edit | edit source]Early Years
[edit | edit source]Audrey grew up in Puyallup, a suburb approximately 35 miles south of Seattle.[2] Her parents made sure that all siblings did something as hobby. Hockey runs already in her family. So she did Hockey at first. Her dad, a former wrestler, known as Deejay - Dee Jay is also fictional character in the Street Fighter computer game series; what a fluke - does also dancing. He does mixed martial arts (MMA) and trained Audrey in MMA by doing workout together. She wanted to do that next, but her mom said she was already too aggressive, so she put her in dance, because she was used beating up her brother. What game character she might be? One time on Christmas she was grappling with him and accidently kicked him in his balls. On family picture that day he was shown still crying.[3] So much for the lovely cute Audrey. Actually a bully. We tried to interview the abuse victim, but didn't find much in the internet. Tory graduated high school and went to college in Washington, because her brother is older than Audrey. At least no permanent damage of his brain can be concluded. Her sister Aryana is also a couple years older and used to be a competition dancer. She is quite a beauty as well. In last years she is in rebellion mode and has in August 2024 three years old daughter Evelynn. And guess what?! Also a beauty. Audrey started dancing when she was about five to six years old as a typical studio kid and was first focusing on Hip-Hip due lack of alternatives.
At the age of 11, she had been a member the Immabeast company until 2020. So she got strongly influenced by world-renowned choreographers Janelle Ginestra and William "WillDaBeast" Adams, the main engines of IMMA. Her dad told her about Immabeast, when he found a video of WillDaBeast, because she didn't really fit in her studio by her uncontrolled energy outbursts. She auditioned on the first BuildaBeast - Audrey's video submission for a class with Will UPGRADE YOU - WILLDABEAST COVER - and she got into the company. Submission video for Justin Bieber's World Purpose Tour at the age of 12, but unfortunately she didn't make it in the cast. Little dance and choreography collaboration midterm exam with Will by "Cry Me A River". She made it later to IMMA High Society (rank of very experienced and distinguished IMMA dancers). IMMA financed themselves first by YouTube videos of their channel The Beast Network and WillDaBeast's channel, which featured many of Audrey's dances as well, selling some fan merchandise and by bookings of the company and their members. They got soon one of the leading industry companies in the world, founded their own dance studio IMMA SPACE, which was open on some days for public. - S.P.A.C.E. stands for 'Strong Positive Attitudes Change Everything'. Founded IMMAbreathe, the contemporary branch of Immabeast and IMMA Aussie Beasts, the Australian branch of Immabeast. But after the divorce of Janelle & Will in 2022 the company got inactive or had been dissolved, maybe even one or two years before that. Tim Milgram still continued run the TMilly Studio, who shared same building with IMMA in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, but didn't post a video since September 9, 2023 on T.Milly TV, where he posted Audrey's classes as well.
She completed her early schooling at a local high school. After that, she enrolled herself at a local university from where she completed her high school graduation accepted outside of California (see CHSPE).
She modeled for Lee Gumbs and Brain Jara. Some shots of the beauty - Shot1, Shot2, Shot3, Shot4, Shot5, Shot6, Shot7, Shot 8, Shot9, Shot10. She worked once as kid model, but she felt it was the worst experience in her life. So she sticked to dancing. On Choachella 2023 she modeled for Addidas. Some private shots by her mom. On January 2025, Audrey modeled for talented young Hong Kong based visual creator Audrey Drey. So the session was called Audrey x Audrey, Short, Dance.
She has co-choreographed and danced for artists like Kai, Aespa, and RED VELVET - IRENE & SEULGI Monster under Janelle Ginestra's influence. She was often a member of her friend Bailey Sok’s skeleton crew and co-choreographed for K-pop show draftings, such as aespa 에스파 'Savage' Choreography Draft, aespa 에스파 ‘도깨비불 (Illusion)’ Choreography Draft, aespa 에스파 'Spicy' Choreography Draft and KAI 카이 'Peaches' Choreography Draft. After NBC WoD in 2019 she sold successfully her own classes with her own choreography, such as Masego x Medasin - Girls that Dance. In the same year, she performed and choreographed for Turkish singer, songwriter and producer Ersay Üner's music video "Nokta" for his same name No.2 album which passed in April 2025 62M+ views. IMMA did a lot in Turkey at that time, because they were very popular in the local dance community. Maybe she got the opportunty by that to get some credits.
In 2020, she performed with Sean Lew and Kaycee Rice to their choreography to Radio Disney's new series On the One (Take) to the songs Party in the USA and Don't Start now which brought the youngster choreographers two World Choreography Award nominations. She performed with Charlize Glass, Jadyn Hernandez, Sage Rosen and Sheaden Gabriel as well, and also to Bailey Sok's choreography to Sofia Carson & R3HAB's – I Luv U for same series mostly with the same crew, including Julian DeGuzman (already deleted)[4].
In 2021, she performed on Matt and Kim music video "RARARA".
Rise to Global Fame in 2023
[edit | edit source]In 2023, She performed with Jackson Wang and Ciara at the Coachella Festival 2023 (Tech Rehearsal) - On stage with Ciara, On stage with Jackson Wang, Audrey's Impressions. She performed also on Jackson Wang's music video "Cheetah". After Coachella she was requested by Nick Six (Nicholas Ong) the CEO and founder of the Jam Republic Agency competing on the Korean reality shows Street Woman Fighter Season 2 in ten episodes as the main show, later on Street Dance Girls Fighter Season 2 as regular member of Crew Master in six episodes and on Street Woman Fighter Season 2: Exclusive Legend Stage one episode as contestant member of Jam Republic.[5]. She was also a guest on Street Woman Fighter Season 2: Worldwide Log in Episode 4. Audrey accepted the show right away, because she had no bookings at that time and learned just later it was a team dancing competition. At the beginning she saw it as problem, because she thought her weakness is “dancing in groups.” She thought by videos when she was booked it was more a freestyle competition and she wanted to do more freestyle and saw it as a good practice. But then she met in a room the other members Kirsten, Latrice, Ling and Emma first time and got told that they are a group now. A perfect remote by a facetime conference casting, because that was all before they got booked and were praised for the great chemistry among the members later without a clue what is coming up on the show. She was relatively shy, got underestimated by her smiling, pure, bright, cute, pretty face, "Audrey Hepburn" and fragile look, as the third youngest contestant of the show ever. Due that she got first elected as the underdog of the show by get marked with six "No respect" stickers on her clothing in Mission 1. Each dancer points out a dancer from an opposing team that they can beat in a one-on-one dance battle. So, Audrey got six from seven opponent teams. But when she got in the jam she turned into a monster, and live mutation drawed Asian TV watcher's attention (here Mission 6: Battle Performance), when she won first both rounds televised. Imitation is the highest form of admiration of the original (Mission 1: "No Respect, Battle of the Weakest"). After done eight missions in ten episodes her crew got runner-up behind Bebe crew with average national rate of 2.2 and a Seoul rate of 3.18 after first airing on August 24, 2023, made the show the most popular in Korea that time for about eight weeks straight. Bada of Bebe and Kristen of Jam Republic were the Top Two rated TV celebrities who weren't not on dramas. In the first two weeks the show had over 100M+ cumulative views on YouTube. On Mission 8 it was 520M+ views. Audrey performed on the spin offs above as well and the shows aired in many countries later. The show was on YouTube trendy of music videos #1 in Philippines, #2 in Peru, #4 in South Korea, #5 in Ecuador, #6 in Bolivia, Colombia and Indonesia, #9 in United Arabic Emirates, Canada and Chile, #10 in Australia and United States, #12 in Germany, # 15 in Argentina, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia, # 17 in Kuwait and Morocco, #18 United Kingdom and Algeria, #26 in Singapore and #36 in France. Especially mentioned Jam Republic's hardcore K-dance to LE SSERAFIM "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife” (Mission 3: "K-Pop Death Match"), Jam Republic's Beyoncé performance in mission 7, Korea Now - 13 hours to prepare: JAM REPUBLIC’s behind stories from SWF2, Korea Now - "Jet lag is a killer": JAM REPUBLIC’s behind stories from SWF2, Korea Now - JAM REPUBLIC connects with Jung Kook.
From November 21 to December 26, 2023 the spin off Street Dance Girls Fighter 2 aired, as youngster's version of Street Woman Fighter on four missions in six episodes. About 2,000 teenage dancers from about 30 different countries applied, to be on one of the six teams - LACHICA and Hook from SWF 1, Mannequeen, Bebe, 1Million and Jam Republic from SWF 2. Each team had assigned three members of the original crew as crew masters. For Jam Republic it were Kirsten, Latrice and Audrey. First mission selected the contestants so that only 7 teenagers up to age of 18 were left and assigned to the crews. Jam Republic's "Godchildren" named as "Baby Jam" or "Jam Junior" were Yamada Ria (Japan), Sienna Miroforidis (Australia), Koyama Miyabi (Japan), Bella Black (New Zealand), Nika Plešnik (New Zealand), Kim Min Jung (South Korea) and Park Eun Woo (South Korea). And the end Team Jam Republic won, before the 1Million crew - Team Jam Republic, Jam Republic Performs with their Mentees. Especially mentioned Gladiator entrances, but sitting over the leons in Emperor's lounge.
On September 16, she performed with the same crew from Coachella with Jackson Wang again at the F1 Grand Prix Singapore opening show. [6] As side effect she got free tickets for the race and a sightseeing trip after she got booked work with Jam Republic Agency again.
Audrey got instantly booked with Jam Republic by Jung Kook of BTS to work out choreography for "3D". After SWF2 went on their own show tour in South Korea at the cities Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Suwon and Gwangju with Jam Republic and the other crews - SWF2 On The Stage | JAM REPUBLIC GLOBAL ARTIST PERFORMANCE (BEYONCE MEDLEY) - Seoul, SWF2 On The Stage | JAM REPUBLIC - JELE X ANGEL'S IN TIBET PERFORMANCE. Score CD is out now, as well as first cover version, another one, and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one, and another one and now giving up. If you didn't notice, it was around the world. On January 2, 2024, the Jam Republic dance crew - Kirsten Dodgen, Ling Zhang, Latrice Kabamba, Emma Huch and Audrey - got invited to perform on 33rd Seoul Music Awards in Bangkok, Thailand to JungKook's "3D" Collab Stage w/ Billie & KoL and their SWF2 "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife” choreography.[7] - BTS VLog JR #1,#2,#3,#4,#5, #6, #7,#8. After that Audrey toured, sometimes with her JR sisters, from one dance studio or convention to another around the world as a K-dance star. She was seriously struggling to leave Asia with her continuous bookings. And what was left was for members of the other crews, such as 왁씨 - Waackxxxy of Mannequeen in her Gaackxxy Dance Studio.

Quotes
[edit | edit source]By Audrey
[edit | edit source]- "Accepting that we make mistakes is like a part of life and since it is a part of life it is a part of dance. Like to be the best dancer you can be after you accept yourself as a person ..." (- Audrey's intro of her class in West Lafayette, Indiana at Purdue University)
- "See that is like the switch. This is what I really meant for." (Audrey in a Korean talk show after conclusion she could still a MMA fighter like her dad). So don't mess up with Audrey outside the jam too.
- "I’m very grateful for you. You’re so smart, which is sometimes a lil scary but i defo dig. You’ve taught me so many things and i shall carry them forever. You’re so hardworking and dedicated, thank you for being the best ma i could ask for." To her mother in an interview of CelebDoko.
Street Woman Fighter 2 2023
[edit | edit source]- "Ehmm, I would just to say good luck." (Response to the burn from Soll of Deep N Dap who charged her "I think you are still a baby, so this big sister will dominate you.", and Yoonji of Mannequeen was asking "Is she a girl of Confucianism? How can she be that polite?", because Audrey's polite way it is not American burn like. Anyway, Audrey won by 3 to 1 votes.)
- "I just couldn't understand it in any way." (Audrey's assessment of all the pre-conceptions, she is young and pretty, so she must be a weak dancer.)
- "It was so real. ... I was happy about the opportunity to dance more, but at the same time it was shocking that your people talking about me that way. Even in like US (TV) dance competitions you don't speak to other people that way. Sounds like 'Oh, this is REAL'." (Audrey as guest on David Yong, about strait, bold and a little insulting statements on the show about her, which were neither been scripted, acted nor directed). In reality TV you don't know what is actually real.
About Audrey
[edit | edit source]Street Woman Fighter 2 2023 (Translated)
[edit | edit source]- "Her MBTI would be C.U.T.E." (one of her Jam Republic crew members. If you have studied psychology, you know there is no C and U type in MBTI.)
- "How will she do it with that pretty face?" (Stereotypes of a opponent team member from the stands about her, shortly before Audrey blew off. And a little envy.) She didn't, but with her arms, hands, feet a.s.o, while other contestants had really some minor injuries in their faces with band-aids. Maybe that's why they got so jealous?!? Because, it might just western taste, but no one of the Korean or Japanese ladies were ugly in any way. Many very pretty one must say. Perhaps the perspective was vise versa. Audrey looked more exotic to the Asian women, because Anne Hathaway was also popular.
- "Audrey. She obviously lacks experience. She is like an amateur dancer." (Lia Kim of 1Million) - There is some truth in it. Lia assessed Audrey by working with big celebrities or big shows in her resume and before Coachella there was just two rounds of NBC WoD 3 - Ersay Üner is outside Turkey not very known, and maybe there is more we cannot find - because they were not fat years for Audrey before that. COVID-19, the closer of IMMA, and many more. Her friends with the big gigs and celebrities in their resumes brought her in when they had opportunities, because her actual weaknesses were networking, self marketing and working in and for long term projects (business skills); not her skills or talent as a dancer, choreographer or are not good looking. Without that, careers as independent contractor or sub-contractor by an agency or studios are much more depending on flukes aka luck. These days there are in average just every 4-5 months a classic audition on stage with a statistical 1 to 30 chance to get booked. Dancers are mostly strait requested and booked by their social-media presence and resume. So for Audrey it changed drastically with Jam Republic and SWF 2. Before the show Jam Republic Agency promoted Audrey this way. Crew, show and agency, just changed by a head jump into freezing water to a foreign country, without a clue how big the show is or it becomes, the show concept and being 'the fish out of the water' over there. Of course, she had mental heath iusses. Home sick, left problems behind are still burning, while she is bounded in Asia to earn some firefighting water and hoping her friends and family can care about this. Felt isolated in a lonely hotel room and hoping someone out there speaks English. Not talking about high professional expectations not anyone let down in a committed contract in a staff of about hundred people over a few months, putting pressure on herself and from outside when the show blew up by hundreds of million views as one highlighted star. So naturally Jam Republic became her sisters and members from the other crews too. That brings maturity, confidence and at last being grown up. In a live show where everyone is watching, how Audrey was changing, get respected by community-oriented Asian TV watchers and crews, and beloved. But concerning her business and entrepreneur skills there is still a lot of space to improve. Maybe she should take Matt Steffania's advices with the bad title - If you want to be famous but you’re lazy, please watch this.
- "She is still like a baby." .. "She is a pretty doll. So she could just stand still and do nothing." (powered by sub-leader Mini of Wolf'Lo).
- "She is a pretty doll." ... "I think she is on a baby level." (SWF2; most dancers saw her as the weak one, but then her eyes changed and scared everyone.)
- "She can be in 'The Exorcist'." (One member of Deep N Dap from the stands in Mission 1, about her change in battle mode.) At the end Audrey bowed and the Angel's face was back again. "She is a crazy one with bright eyes." A lovely lunatic. That impressed everyone. Like Jinx in disguise, because the look was already taken by JoJo Gomez.
After first battles, just two of six were televised:
- "Audrey is a strong one." (sub-leader Mini of Wolf'Lo now)
- "Audrey showed many weapons. Because everyone is on a high level, instead of just showing movements, you have to show us your weapons." (Special judge Mike Song of the Kinjaz).
On "Battle Performance" Mission (#6) later:
- "We are going to put out our secret weapon." (Jam Republic crew, when Audrey was chosen to battle 1v1 for her crew and her eyes changed again with same result. 3 to 0 votes for Audrey.)
- "In the 1-on-1 battle, Audrey just did herself. She did what we all expected from her. I've it only seen in videos, but you literally tore it up. So I had to give you some points for that." (Judge Trix of Prime Kingz). From underdog with record six "No Respect" stickers to in Korea beloved battle star. That was a hell of a trip and a great show.
Fun Facts
[edit | edit source]- Audrey was practicing traditional Korean martial art Taekkyon for about three years, which gave her that power, balance and flexibility - Taekkyeon tutorial (Applied Practice). In her youth her dad trained her in mixed martial arts (MMA) as well.
- In Korea, after SWF2 she was often criticized in social media for her unshaved axilla. In Korean and Asian culture it is considered disgusting, unhygienic and creepy. But her non-Asian fans explained later that it is common in her country. However, "Axilla" or "Armpit" became to a kind of nickname for her Asian fans. Even the International Business Times reported about the viral effect. So ridiculous ...
- Her father is half Filipino and half Mexican. Her mother is Caucasian. The genetic mixture worked out, because Audrey is often praised for her beauty and fitness.
- She is a fashionista and fitness enthusiast.
- She admitted on SWF2: Worldwide Log that when she battled on first mission sliding over the floor and pushed with her shoulders in a "Shoulder Stand" that it actually hurted her so badly during she show she could barely walk. And her body made loud noises. She showed it by making live some crack noises with her spine and her neck. Like Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy when she actually failed in battling. But actually this choreography was stolen from Cammy. So much for freestyle.
- On SWF2 they had just one night rest between the missions of shooting and preparing. As soon as a mission was finished shooting, they got the next mission, and so on up to 7 to 9 pm, then they got the next mission presented the dancers have a gathering to present in 40 seconds what the mission is to everyone that had filmed until midday or 3 pm. So it was quite restless, because they got constantly thrown missions at them. They had a lokal shootings up to the KPop mission (#4) and then flew to New Zealand for the mega crew mission. They had hardly any breaks and flew back to Korea for the rest of the show.
- Audrey said she had not enough sleep before the battles. Watching back she feels hard to believe that she did that. Kirsten on the other hand said on David Young, if it had been on her Audrey would be not her first choice battling for the crew.
- lilbrokenknees is often compared to Audrey Hepburn by same first name, her relatively short hair cut and face look. So what both have in common despite that?
- Both were trained in Ballet. Hepburn was told by Ballet school in London that despite her talent, her height and weak constitution (the after-effect of wartime malnutrition) would make the status of prima ballerina unattainable, so she decided to concentrate on acting. Not Lane-Partlow's problem. All weak constitution had been live disproven. She is more trained in Ballet on side lane, but the status of prima ballerina (today principal dancer) is unattainable for her as well.
- Hepburn was 5'6¾". Lane-Partlow is 5'3¾". Not that much difference.
- Both supported themselves with part-time work as a model. Lane-Partlow less than Hepburn before her acting career.
- Both performed as dancers on TV, but Lane-Partlow obviously much more than Hepburn. She performed on BBC and had minor roles in TV films, but mostly in theaters and night clubs. Lane-Partlow never performed in theaters (Broadway like) yet. Night clubs?!? Not heard yet. Lane-Partlow performed more often on big festivals and award shows. She had some minor roles for Disney and Nickelodeon, but did commercial. Hepburn didn't, because that concept wasn't known at that time. Hepburn made her starring breakthrough by acting in featured films, while Lane-Partlow did it by dancing in Jam Republic and on NBC World of Dance live on stage and by YouTube videos.
