Kid Dancers Wiki:Policy
You can now find our Policy at Policy:Privacy Policy.
1. ABSOLUTELY NO VANDALISM! This is the number one rule. If the admins see one page is being excessively vandalized, they will either,
a. Block all the users/contributors who are doing the vandalism or
b. Protect the page for either only users or administrators.
2. The comments are enabled to show love for the dancers, not to pose or swear. Swearing will get you a short ban, and posing will get you about a two month ban.
3. Contributors may not become administrators. Please go to Kid Dancers Wiki:Administrators for more admin policies.
4. Any user with any pornographic images, videos, etc. will be issued an infinite ban.
5. We have a mighty long list of dancers here. So if you are a parent, a legal or kids guardian and if you see your kid being talked about, but you don't want him/her to be talked about for any reason. Please contact me personally and we will be glad to remove the child. That is so there wouldn't be any problems or discrepancies. Don't just blank out the page. And to all those who want to edit here and add dancers, be very careful; because the dancer you add might tick the parents or guardians of the individual off and might want to complain. In fact, a parent might even want to block you from seeing their social media stuff, even if you are just browsing and even if (s)he hasn't been added yet; and if you happen to be a dancer yourself or someone who knows or is related to a dancer, you have to watch out too, as this wiki may not be for you to enter the information in; so be really careful when adding and/or editing dancer pages.
6. Miraheze did not operate services that are targeted at people under 13 years of age according Dutch law, and does not collect personally identifiable information. But be clear, it was allowed until April 2020 in the U.S. on Fandom without parent permission to offer a service for them. Within the EU sometimes even both parents with right of custody and over 13 years old child permissions was required regarding domestic rule depending by country up to the age of 16 to use pictures and videos featuring them. This means kids under that age could not use this wiki or some data of them could not be featured. That is why we did not host in Germany on SkyWiki later. But if some of such data by kids under these age requirements was entered and is mistakenly migrated to kiddancers.wiki back to U.S., please inform us, so we can delete them, or alternatively with your permission take them temporally offline, but still will keep them, until required age limit is reached to publish it online again.
7. For children who got public eye and became public figures the Freedom of Press already superimposed their Privacy and Data Protection rights as higher law by federal constitution, and because we hosting in the U.S., for dancers around the world who have public eye featured here and uses public social-media and free internet. The Privacy and Data Protection child was already dropped in the well; forever and not by us. That's the way it is. Our standards concerning this are high and are not relying on single events, such as, one viral video, one national TV appearance or newspaper report, or over a million Instagram or Twitter/X followers, TikTok or Youtube subscribers, but by multible events. Then we allow to extend the page very much to a full resume by data one can find in the free internet with free access by visible information, with some conclusions and rarely assumptions. If you think some of them are not accurate, fell free to change or complain. References would be always nice to have.
8. Our writing style is building a positive promotion and development of the dancers, their craft and their environment. We take the efforts on a non-profitable site, because we are big fans of the dancers and wish just the best for them. We humorfully kidding them sometimes about their weaknesses, but want them be successful and happy in profession and life. Every hater, troll, pervert and overreacting person who doesn't understand that concept by negative edits will be banned, sometimes forever.
9. Pictures uploaded here will set under our licence. For professional entertainers we are moving a little bit imprudent on the edge here. Since many pages of our wiki were featured on the top sites of the mainstream search engines, such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Yandix etc we are burdened to deliever at least one attractive headshot of them, because clients and agencies look very first on that. So we "steal" often one from non-professional sources (not from photographers, magazines etc) without asking of permission, such as their Instagrams, edit it a little bit and put picture without asking of permission under CC-BY-SA 4.0 licence on their pages. In all these years a dancer never did complaint about that. On the contrary, most were glad about it and some had sent us their last headshot for their pages. So we continue to "be bold". However, if you don't want to accept it and want your picture(s) removed, feel free to complain.
