Brief Biography

[edit | edit source]

Born on May 14, 1989 in Santa Clara, Califonia, called onto the dance floor at age 2, Janelle Ginestra claimed her artistry early. Raised in the Silicon Valley, Ginestra took to dancing quickly as a child, performing competitively and eventually finding herself headed to Hollywood. As a kid, Janelle began an acting career that soon found her highlighting her dance abilities across film, tv and commercial. As a teen, she relocated to the Central Valley where she began to self-train, choreograph and dance in her high school rallies and eventually for local rap artist, Jiggy. Continuing her nonstop dance training, Janelle added competitive cheerleading to her resume. After winning several national championship titles and competing in pom, her over decade long career with Jamz Cheer and Dance was born. As a head instructor, she traveled the country teaching kids and teens across dance and cheer, developing a deep love for teaching.

As a fiercely independent 18 year old, Ginestra took her skills in dance, cheerleading and choreography and headed back to Los Angeles- setting her sights on becoming a professional dancer. Her skill and talent gained her recurring roles in television series like: Glee, X-Factor, America's Got Talent and appearances in films like: Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, Honey 2, Bring it On: Fight to the Finish & Fired Up. As a dancer, Ginestra has toured with icons like Pink, Jennifer Lopez, Chaka Khan and appeared in several music videos including the viral hit “Anaconda” with Nicki Minaj. Her hard work and dedication has awarded her the opportunity to choreograph for artists like JBalvin, Pitbull, Bad Bunny, J-Lo, Halsey, Sza, Jojo, Dove Cameron & IYLA. Credits of note include: Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, Latin Grammy Awards, The Voice and Coachella.

Combining years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, teacher and cheerleader- Janelle launched online fitness businesses “Naughty Girl Fitness” and “Let’s Cheer Up”- aiming to provide access to professional training for athletes & performers across dance, cheer and fitness. Since its inception in 2020, Janelle has amassed a community of over 4 million followers online who share the belief that dancers and cheerleaders are athletes and should train like athletes.

Living her purpose to inspire the world through movement, Janelle is proud to create art that identifies with and is inspired by the complete freedom of expression. Through her own journey of self-empowerment and expression, she hopes to continue to evolve into the best dancer, teacher and human she can be.[2] [3]

About William "WillDaBeast" Adams

Brief Biography

[edit | edit source]

William "Willdabeast" Adams, born September 6, 1988, is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, began his more intense dance training in 2005 in cities like Indianapolis and Chicago. He then began to travel and attend many dance conventions like Monsters of Hip Hop, Pulse on Tour, and many others. A short three years later, Adams joined a local Indianapolis dance crew named "Destined 2 Be", and the crew went on to win the Indiana Black Expo two years in a row earning a perfect score at both appearances. Something like this had never been done in the history of the expo.

Just a short year later, Will's crew gained national attention by making it through two rounds of America's Got Talent. This appearance led the crew to shows with groups like Breaksk8 and people like Jason Derulo. Adams' career slowly began to lift off from there as he began to book many more jobs and appeared in movies, commercials, short films, etc. In late 2009, Adams chose to move to Los Angeles, California to continue to establish his career. In 2010, he landed a job dancing on tour for rap artist T-Pain. He also, since moving to LA, got jobs choreographing for Nike commercials and as a guest choreographer on one of the most popular dance television series in America, So You Think You Can Dance.

In 2013, WillDa created the immaBEAST dance company. He auditioned hundreds of the most talented dancers in Los Angeles and across the country but only about 60 dancers made the final cut. Will's company immediately began producing videos and short films that have since gained millions of views and followers. The immaBEAST company has become one of the biggest hip hop brands in America and has also had a major influence on American dance culture as well. Beginning in 2015, Adams incorporated the annual immaBeast audition into a workshop and training experience called the BuildaBeast Experience. The five day convention held in California every year consists of four days of workshops with some of the industry's top choreographers and the immaBeast audition on the fifth day. Each year, the convention's size keeps going from about 750 dancers the first year to over 1,000 dancers in over a year. At the pinnacle of his influence, Willdabeast has successfully established ‘immaBEAST’ as a premier hip-hop brand in the United States. His innovations in dance conventions and choreography have not only elevated his status but have also propelled him to the forefront of the international dance community. Willdabeast Adams stands as a visionary in hip-hop, inspiring and shaping the landscape of dance for generations to come.

His next venture had been the company's dance studio called IMMA S p a c e. It went live on 28 February 2017 with a dance routine to That's what I like by Bruno Mars. Choreographers like Brian Friedman, Tricia Miranda, Janelle Ginestra and Phil Wright schedule classes here.[4]
